Gipresenta ni National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Caraga OIC Director Gemima Olam sa mga development stakeholders ang Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023-2028 sa gihimong provincial caravan karong adlawa, April 12 sa Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

Ang maong plano, naka-angkla sa 8-Point Socioeconomic Agenda sa administrasyon ni Presidente Bongbong Marcos.

Samtang, gitaho ni Olam nga ikaduha ang Agusan del Sur sa pinakadako og ambag sa paglambo sa ekonomiya sa Caraga base sa datos sa Philippine Statistics Authority sa gross domestic product (GDP) percent share sa matag probinsya ug highly urbanized cities (HUC) sa 2022. Ang probinsiya, nag-una sa pinakadako og kontribusyon sa natad sa agrikultura, ikaduha sa industriya, ug ikatulo sa services sector sa kinatibuk-ang 22.9 percent, sunod sa Surigao del Norte nga 24.2 ang GDP percent share.

“We know that there have been consistent and active efforts from the province of Agusan del Sur to combat poverty. Slowly, we are seeing the results of these efforts,” pamahayag ni Olam.

Nanawagan usab og hugot nga suporta sa mga ahensya sa gobyerno si Olam para hugtanon nga mapatuman ang mga plano nga makatabang sa paglambo sa ekonomikanhon nga aspeto sa mga Caraganon aron hingpit nga mahaw-as sa kapobrehon ang mga katawhan. Tutukan sa RDP 2023-2028 ang pagpalambo sa sektor sa fishery, agroforestry, mining ug ecotourism.
